  • Product presentation & merchandising

  • Complete store concepts
Including both IKEA and non-IKEA projects.

  Renovating a home in Ghent?

You don’t have to do it alone.

Renovating can feel overwhelming, especially in a city where space is limited, buildings are complex, and every decision has a big impact. I understand these challenges not just on paper, but from real-life experience.

I help to:

  • Rethink layout and circulation

  • Make small spaces feel open and light

  • Create efficient, practical floor plans

  • Balance functionality with warmth and style

  • Make confident renovation decisions

  • My goal is to help you turn a compact house into a home that feels spacious, comfortable, and truly yours.

  Small Space Houses

I am an expert in designing smart interiors for small spaces. Creating layouts that feel open, bright, and cosy while making every square meter matters.

My background combines years of experience working for IKEA, where challenging layouts and the balance between functionality and style were always key. And with the hands-on renovation of two houses in Ghent. This mix of professional and personal experience has given me deep insight into the realities of renovating homes in the city.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with contractors and suppliers, managing renovations from the very first idea to the final detail. This allows me to guide you through the process with clarity, realism, and confidence.

 IKEA experience

My journey with IKEA began in 2010. I started at IKEA Ghent as an Interior Designer in the Com&In team, and later grew into the role of Interior Design Manager.

After seven inspiring years, I chose to become a freelancer in early 2017. To gain more creative freedom, explore personal projects, and work internationally.

Since then, I have supported IKEA stores across several countries with design, planning, implementation, and coordination of both sales and non-sales areas. My work includes roomsets, homes, customer meeting points, and commercial planning area, as well as training and guiding local teams

  How i work

  • First meeting: we get to know each other, define your goals, and determine the steps needed.

  • Understanding your “why”: what do you want to change and why?

  • Concept phase: you receive a mood board and a first rough layout. I can also design some variations when needed.

  • Detail phase: after approval, we develop detailed plans and technical documents.

  • Execution: I coordinate the external companies and follow
    the works until finish.

Don’t hesitate to contact me for a future collaboration via here. And if you’ve read everything up to here, I’m already looking forward to hearing from you
